Helping mission-driven organizations make change and tell their story.

Grant proposal development and strategic support for nonprofits and higher education.

About

I help nonprofit and higher education organizations develop strong grant proposals and the programs behind them. Drawing on over a decade teaching humanities at Harvard, I help teams navigate complex questions and articulate their impact clearly. My work spans concept development through reporting, with particular experience in education, incarceration, public humanities, and health equity.

Services

Rapid Grant Proposal Support

Fast, focused support to move a competitive proposal forward on deadline. I turn strong ideas and existing materials into a clear, funder-aligned narrative, helping teams submit without adding strain to staff capacity.

Additional Grant Seeking and Planning Support

For teams that need broader or ongoing support, I offer end-to-end proposal development and planning tailored to the project and timeline, from synthesizing contributor input to drafting full proposals and coordinating approval processes. These services may be provided as part of a longer proposal engagement or as stand-alone support. They include:

  • Grant strategy: Identifying best-fit opportunities and shaping strong cases to funders

  • Program design: Clarifying goals, structure, partnerships, and intended outcomes

  • Evaluation planning: Defining outcomes and drafting evaluation plans and logic models

  • Reporting and synthesis: Supporting data collection and synthesizing findings for internal learning, reports, or future proposals

  • Facilitation: Structuring conversations to align priorities and collaborators
